As
part of the Centennial celebration, the Tukwila Historical Society
is planning a Historic Homes & Buildings Tour 10 am - 4 pm Saturday,
August 23, 2008. Tickets will be available the day of the tour at
Tukwila (cont.)

will be taking a break from meeting in July. Our
next monthly meeting will take place on Thursday, August 14th, 7 pm at
the George Long Blg at 14000 Interurban Ave S. Be sure to visit

Hope
for the Future of the Tribe
As
early as next year, members of the Duwamish Tribe will be able cook
salmon at their new headquarters along the river that bears their
name. They will hold meetings, display artifacts, beat drums, share (cont.)
