Historic Homes & Buildings Tour

As part of Tukwila’s Centennial celebration, The Tukwila Historical Society is planning an Historic Homes & Buildings Tour from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 23, 2008. Tickets will be available on the day of the tour at the Tukwila Community Center and prior to the tour at the Tukwila Historical Society’s booth at the Tukwila Days festival to be at the Tukwila Community Center on August 16, 2008.  Participants will have the option of viewing the homes on the tour by taking a self-guided tour in their own vehicle for $5.00, or by taking an escorted guided tour by shuttle bus for $12.00.  Reduced fares of $10.00 will be offered for Seniors 65 and over, $7.00 for children and maximum cost of $25 per family.  Tour participants will be given a brochure with map and brief summary of each historical site.
